Disappointed

I bought this for a friend for her dog. I'm a matter of days all the beads were gone. Not really sure what happened. Ad he is an inside dog. Only thing she came up with is he scratched the off. While I had a dog that had one of thr same collars that ran through the woods playing. A d hers never got messed up for over a year
